창원시도 최근 관내 전세사기 피해자 보호 차원에서 실태 파악을 하고 있고 전세사기 피해자 구제를 위해 LH공사와 협력하고 있다고 발표한 바가 있다.

하지만 관내에서 전세사기로 추정되는 피해자가 극단적 선택을 한 것으로 추정되는 만큼 선제적 대응을 통해 피해자 보호에 나서야 한다.
