[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시립합창단은 창원특례시와 함께 10일 의창구 중앙공원 어울림마당 특설무대에서 가정의 달 5월을 맞아 공연장을 방문하지 않고도 고품격 합창공연을 즐길 수 있는 ‘베란다 콘서트’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 홍남표 시장을 비롯해 김영선 국회의원, 백태현 도의원, 곽기권 의창구창장 등과 시의원 등이 참석해, 콘서트에 참석한 지역민들에게 감사의 인사를 전했다.

창원시립합창단 공기태 예술감독의 지휘로 ‘경복궁 타령·마중·금잔디·바람이 불어오는 곳·여러분·고맙소’ 등 아름답고 다채로운 곡을 선보였으며, 특별무대로 ‘아리랑’ 태평소 연주를 선보여 참석한 주민들로부터 박수갈채를 받았다.

창원시립합창단은 기획공연으로 베란다 콘서트를 진행하고 있으며, 코로나19로 지친 시민들에게 한국 합창과 대중음악을 합창 선율에 가득 담아 야외무대에서 객석과 더불어 집 베란다에서 음악회를 감상할 수 있는 색다른 무대가 되어 2020년부터 시작해 큰 사랑을 받고 있다.

김영선 의원은 “가정의 달을 맞아 의창구민들의 화합을 다지고 가족의 정을 나눌 수 있는 좋은 의미가 가득한 콘서트에 초청해주셔서 너무 감사드린다”며 “살기 좋은 의창구를 만들고 나아가 창원특례시를 만드는데 혼신의 힘을 다 할 것”이라고 인사했다.
